Meet the Team

Phil – Accessman’s ‘Can-Do, Go-To’ guy and mobile guru
One of the original Accessman team, Phil worked with Anna and Ross, Phil is now the co-owner and manager of both the Fitzgerald Avenue and Timaru branches. His knowledge of the industry and the machines in the Accessman fleet is extensive.

But it is his enthusiastic attitude that has earned him the ‘can-do, go-to’ guy reputation; which may be why he spends so much time on his mobile – his phone bill is the stuff legends are made of!

When Phil is not on the phone or running his Accessman branches he enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy and their two great young boys. For recreation Phil enjoys bike riding, boxing and golf.

Al – Safety man and marketing guru
Al's claim to fame is that he is one of Accessman's Silvercard Workplace Compliance Trainers. This sees him spending large amounts of time on job sites and in classrooms training clients so they are certified in the use of access equipment. Al is also co-owner of both the Accessman City and Timaru branches.

With a background in sales and marketing; Al is always trying to out-think the marketing departments' strategies, however they have never, and will never, take any notice of any of the ideas Al presents as they believe he cleaned pools in his previous employment!

Al enjoys a good laugh and can be found spending time on the golf course and fishing when he is not at work … but only after the chores at home are completed.

Jeremy – Miles’ master and saloon car racer
Jeremy (aka Rangi) is a cool, calm and collected team player who keeps the Fitzgerald Ave branch in good working order. He has a passion for cars; both fixing them and racing them and he can often be found in his saloon racing car at Ruapuna.

His mechanical knowledge is handy around the yard, however we don't tend to fit turbo's or super chargers to Accessman machines, unless by special request.

Jeremy is also the owner of the branch mascot – Miles, the yard dog.
